Every package includes the Alpha ESS battery system, inverter(s), professional installation by CEC accredited electricians, all wiring and equipment, grid connection, system commissioning, monitoring app setup and warranty coverage. There are no hidden costs.
How do I know which Alpha ESS package is right for my home?
The Solar Saver 5/15 suits smaller households or those looking for an entry-level system. The Solar Max 10/26.6 is our most popular package and is ideal for 3-4 bedroom homes with moderate to high energy usage. Our free online assessment will help determine which package delivers the best return for your situation.
What government rebates are available?
The Australian Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides a discount of approximately 30% on eligible battery systems. This is applied at the time of purchase by your installer through Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs).
You do not need to apply separately. The rebate applies to systems between 5kWh and 50kWh of usable capacity. Note that the rebate amount steps down over time, so acting sooner means a larger discount.

Do I need existing solar panels?
Yes, a battery system needs to be paired with a new or existing solar PV system to be eligible for the government rebate and to deliver the best value. If you do not have solar yet, we can discuss options during your assessment.
