The Power Home 6/15 is suited to smaller households or those with moderate energy usage. What does “all-in-one” mean?
Esy Sun integrates the battery and inverter into a single tower unit, rather than mounting them as separate components. This simplifies installation, reduces the amount of hardware on your wall and minimises potential points of failure.
What is AI-driven energy management?
The Esy Sun system uses artificial intelligence to monitor your energy usage, local weather and electricity pricing in real time. It automatically adjusts when to charge, discharge or export energy to maximise your savings without you needing to manage it manually.
What government rebates are available?
The Australian Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides a discount of approximately 30% on eligible battery systems. This is applied at the time of purchase by your installer through Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs).
You do not need to apply separately. The rebate applies to systems between 5kWh and 50kWh of usable capacity. Note that the rebate amount steps down over time, so acting sooner means a larger discount.

Do I need existing solar panels?
Yes, a battery system needs to be paired with a new or existing solar PV system to be eligible for the government rebate and to deliver the best value. If you do not have solar yet, we can discuss options during your assessment.
Will the battery keep my home powered during a blackout?
Yes. Esy Sun systems provide blackout backup capability. During a grid outage, the system can automatically switch to battery power. It can also continue charging from your solar panels during a blackout, which not all battery systems can do.
Is the Esy Sun system suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes. Every Esy Sun system carries an IP66 weather rating, making it fully dust-tight and protected against heavy rain. It can be installed indoors or outdoors.
Can I expand my Esy Sun system later?
Yes. Esy Sun systems are modular. Additional battery modules can be added to your existing system as your energy needs grow.
What does the online assessment include?
We’ll ask a few questions about your property, your current solar setup (if any), and your electricity usage. We may also request a few photos of your switchboard and the proposed installation area to help us understand your setup.
Our specialist will then conduct an online energy assessment including a switchboard safety review, load analysis (comparing your daytime and night-time energy use), battery location planning, backup circuits discussion, and solar compatibility check.
